Montrose provides air quality testing, leak detection and repair services, and consulting services. Regulations drive the need for our services but our unique capabilities allow us to add value (e.g., new streams of income) to clients beyond environmental compliance. For our families and communities, we strive to protect the air they breathe, the water they drink and the soil on which they live.
We have grown organically and through acquisitions, and we expect to remain very acquisitive. We are also exploring some unique opportunities to invest in projects that expand our portfolio of services and are very complementary to our core offerings. Given our speed of growth and strong financial profile (cash generative), Montrose is contemplating a public offering in the first half of 2018 so we can continue to build a leading and (soon to be) global franchise.
Part of our evolution requires a maturation of our business analytics and operational leadership. As such, we would like to add a Financial Analyst to our team. Chemistry is very important to us because we have a unique (and quite successful) blend of very experienced environmental engineers/operators coupled with very high tempo leaders. Our chemistry is a large part of our success to date.
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, our Financial Analyst will analyze the profitability and operating efficiency of existing offices within the region, manage accounting activities within the region, and perform basic AP/AR functions. The ideal candidate will be very interested in and comfortable with (i) financial analyses, (ii) mapping and understanding operating workflows (to improve efficiency), (iii) presenting fleshed-out thoughts and ideas to the Regional Vice President, and (iv) working collaboratively with operating leaders. The ideal candidate will have a natural comfort with engineers and operators, and is a self-starter with limited need for direction/guidance. The ideal candidate will be based out of our office in Richmond, VA or our office in Durham, NC.
