Enthalpy Analytical Inc has immediate openings for a Senior Scientist in the In Vitro Toxicology Department.   


Position Duties:

  • Conduct and supervise research; analyze data toward project direction goals and milestones; write study protocols and technical reports
  • Participate in scientific conferences and present research findings
  • Work with Business Development and customers to develop new capabilities and assays
  • Operation, management, maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation
  • Laboratory day-to-day housekeeping and ordering responsibilities
  • Assist in data compilation and data review
  • Prepare summary of findings and observations; write manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication
  • Development and writing of analytical methods, SOPs and validations
  • Plan method improvement and development
  • Conducting in vitro assays for mutagenicity, genotoxicity and cytotoxicity of pure chemicals and complex mixtures from various sources
  • Work in a GLP compliant environment



  • PhD degree with postdoctoral experience in the biomedical sciences and 1 - 4 years of experience in cell biology, biochemistry, physiology or toxicology/pharmacology.
  • Experience in mammalian tissue culture, microscopy (light and fluorescence), biochemical, histology techniques and micro-plate based assays.


The successful candidate will be detail oriented, reliable, highly motivated, and will interact well in a team environment. The candidate will possess good organizational skills, a high energy level, a sense of commitment to assure that obligations and quality are met, and be capable of handling multiple assignments concurrently. Also required is a working knowledge of statistics and basic computer skills, especially MS Office.


Experience in working in a regulated laboratory and experience with assays used for the qualitative and quantitative assessment of genotoxicity and cytotoxicity using 2D or 3D cells is desired.
