Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 8 laboratories servicing air, water, soil and tobacco testing.  Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.  For our families and communities, we strive to protect the air they breathe, the water they drink, and the soil on which they live.  

 

We are currently looking for an entry-level programmer/analyst to assist in the development and support of our in-house laboratory information management system (LIMS).  We are looking for a candidate with the skills and motivation to translate complex laboratory workflows and data flow paths into an automated system.  The IT Programmer/Analyst will be working with our lead developer, laboratory chemists, and engineers to identify bottlenecks, design and build solutions.

 

We are looking for a part-time Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Mount Pleasant, MI.  This individual would be expected to work approximately 10-15 hours per week.

 

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assembling glassware and other equipment for sample prep
  • Documenting procedures for quality compliance
  • Washing glassware
  • Conducting simple assays
  • Data entry
  • Facility cleaning/maintenance
  • Perform support tasks as needed 

Qualifications

  • Current University/College Student with a declared Chemistry major or completed degree
  • Previous experience in a lab setting desired (academic counts)
  • Basic Excel skills required
  • Must have ability to follow directions and work in a team setting
  • Good communication skills required
  • Detail oriented
