    Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 8 laboratories servicing air, water, soil and tobacco testing.  Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.  For our families and communities, we strive to protect the air they breathe, the water they drink, and the soil on which they live.  

     

    We are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to assist our laboratories in recruiting top talent, based out of our Richmond, VA location.  The Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruiting for the entire ELS group to include interviewing, coaching and referring applicants for technical, administrative and management positions.  The Recruiter will also perform various HR Administrative functions.  Range for this position will be commensurate with experience.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborating with hiring managers to assess hiring needs, effectively understand requisitions, and find talent that aligns with the needs of the business
    • Advise hiring managers of the recruiting process from job posting to onboarding, by having regular meetings and communication
    • Partner with HR to ensure recruiting activity is compliant with state and federal regulations as well as with internal operating procedures
    • Utilize applicant tracking system to create job postings, review and analyze resumes
    • Thoroughly conduct phone interviews, in-person interviews (as required), and make recommendations for hire
    • Communicate interview results to candidate in a timely basis
    • Keep track of Employee Referrals
    • Partner with universities, colleges, professional organization, etc. to create relationship and pipeline of candidates
    • Create and coordinate job advertising in various media. Attend job fairs and develop and maintain contacts with colleges, universities, alumni groups and other organizations to identify potential applicants
    • Handle employment advertising and use creative ways for identifying and attracting potential candidates
    • Assist with onboarding tasks and compliance to include (but not limited to) background and drug testing, reference checking, liaising with corporate
    • Assist with training hiring managers on recruiting, interviewing and the selection process, as needed or required
    • Assist HR Business Partners with updating Organizational Charts, sending reports, and other administrative tasks, as needed
    • Other duties, as assigned

     

    Qualifications

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associates’ Degree in Business or related discipline from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
    • 2 years of experience recruiting
    • Sound knowledge of legislation in the recruiting process

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline
    • Experience in a laboratory environment, strongly preferred
    • Experience using iCIMS applicant tracking system, VISIO and EXCEL
    • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
    • Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills
    • Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
    • Solid organization and time management skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to work independently, managing multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated)
    • Ability/willingness to travel
    • English language competency
