    Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 8 laboratories servicing air, water, soil and tobacco testing.  Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.  For our families and communities, we strive to protect the air they breathe, the water they drink, and the soil on which they live.  

     

    We are currently seeking a full-time Report Write to focus on Data Compilation for our laboratory in Richard. VA.  This position assists in the compilation and review of scientific documents using Excel and Adobe Acrobat Writer for submission to our customers and clients.  The hourly range for this position is between $16-$22/hour, which will be commensurate with experience.

     

    Role and Responsibilities:

     

    • Compiles large data files using moderately complex Excel workbooks
    • Edits and formats basic to moderately complex analytical reports for submission to clients, customers, and regulatory authorities using Adobe Acrobat Writer
    • Comply with Enthalpy's Quality Assurance Program and other policies
    • Comply with Enthalpy's Health and Safety Plan
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocation qualification
    • Previous experience that provides knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel, required

    Preferred Skills

    • Adobe Acrobat Writer knowledge and skills, preferred
    • Good working knowledge of scientific terminology and/or research concepts
    • Good knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, table and graph generation and use of applicable computer software
    • Ability to collaborate with lab team members to gather, interpret, and consolidate data, generate documentation and reporting, review data and information for presentation and review.
    • Experience with analytical sciences
    • Working knowledge of industry regulations, GLP/OECD or other regulated environments
    • Working knowledge of analytical laboratory procedures
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Detailed oriented
    • Effective time management skills
    • Excellent editorial and proofreading skills
    • Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
    • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
