    Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 8 laboratories servicing air, water, soil and tobacco testing.  Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.  For our families and communities, we strive to protect the air they breathe, the water they drink, and the soil on which they live.  


    We are looking for a Project Manager Assistant (PMA) to join our environmental laboratory in Richmond, VA.  The PMA is responsible for answering phone(s), purchasing and reconciling invoices for AP approval.  In addition this individual will be responsible for the following duties:


    • Assists with login, storage and verification of client samples, verifies COC and notifies clients of discrepancies
    • Review client protocols and verify study is set up accordingly
    • Review data prior to QA submission; scrutinize data for trends or anomalies
    • Work directly with group leaders, project managers and client (when necessary)
    • General administrative project support such as keeping detailed project notes and records or organization and maintenance of project data files (COC, Quote, PMaster, etc)
    • Maintain and monitor project plans and schedule (sample pulls, delivery and available sample inventory)
    • Assisting with tracking assays status and logging each


    • BS in an analytical science or equivalent experience in an analytical/environmental laboratory
    • Evaluation of statistics experience highly desires
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, experience with statical analysis software a plus
    • Highly motivated and self-started
    • Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels of the organization
    • Flexible schedule including overtime as needed
    • Able to multi-task under strict deadlines
