    Enthalpy Analytical, a subsidiary of Montrose Environmental Group, is seeking a Environmental Supervisor in the Volatiles Department in Orange CA.

     

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Manage and run EPA methods 8015, 8021, 8260, 524, T015, T03, AQMD 25.3
    • Personnel supervision, time management, and operational efficiency
    • Perform instrument maintenance and repair
    • Troubleshooting and problem solving
    • Prepare calibration standards & calibrate instruments
    • Maintain inventory of standards & supplies; order replacements as needed
    • Hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions
    • Conflict resolution, personnel skills development and team building
    • Accurate and timely communication with internal and external clients
    • Project scheduling
    • Development of analytical methods
    • Overhead projects designed to improve efficiency of, or accuracy of analyses
    • Peer review other analysts’ data packages, data entry, sequences, benchbooks, etc.
    • Dispose of excess sample and standard volume
    • Comply with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance Program and other policies
    • Ensure staff comply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety Plan

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience required
    • Knowledge of EPA Methods 
    • Previous management experience preferred
