    We are looking to hire a full-time, Senior FP&A Analyst who will join our team based out of Irvine, CA. 

     

    • Works directly with Operations, the Finance Manager and the Vice President of Finance to develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
    • Assists with the preparation and development of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and analytics for actuals and forecasts by collaborating with, and obtaining information from, the operations teams.
    • Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators (KPI’s) including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
    • Monitors performance indicators, highlighting trends, and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
    • Builds financial forecasts, such as budget, budget revisions, and monthly revenue estimates, based on strategy and projected financial implications.
    • Provides monthly variance reports and budget analyses to key stakeholders and executive team.
    • Analyzes complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
    • Partner with the operations and senior management teams during the annual budget process, to construct and revise the annual budget for all intercompany departments and divisions.
    • Maintains and develops complex financial models.
    • Prepares comprehensive data to be used in presentations for the Board of Directors and executive team as requested.
    • Maintains confidentiality at all times.
    • Exercises safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs. 
    • Participates in company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts. 
    • Keeps up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops.  
    • Performs other duties as assigned. 

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field from an accredited university
    • 3+ years of experience in financial modeling, business analysis, FP&A, business integration, and analytics
    • Superior Microsoft Excel skills and advanced knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookup, and macros
    • Highly analytical and detail oriented
    • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with building financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, Google, and/or PC Programs
    • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Solid organization and time management skills
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently, managing responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated)

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field from an accredited university
    • MBA
