    Role and Responsibilities

    • Assessment of services and capabilities across divisions and locations.
    • Understanding of MEG partner and project specific needs
    • Coordinate lab needs ahead of sample collection so that appropriate preparations and schedule considerations can be optimized
    • Follow up with vendors or ELS lab sites then apprise MEG partners of the status of projects
    • Become familiar with regulatory nuances in the states/jurisdictions where MEG partners will be collecting samples.   
    • May require slightly non-standard work hours so that we can accommodate service to both East and West Coast business partners, e.g. 11-9 shift if located on the East Coast.

     

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences
    • Minimum of 3 year in customer service experience
    • Must be very familiar with the most commonly used air, waste water, storm water, drinking water, soil, and sediment assays and how they fit into the regulatory landscape. Must be able to help MEG partners assure that the specified tests fit and satisfy the project needs.
    • Strong preference for candidates that had some chemistry bench experience before entering their sales or PM role.
    • Experience in a sales or project management capacity in Environmental Lab services

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Must be able to juggle numerous projects simultaneously and organize the information for those projects for near instant access to the information when a call comes in.
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
