     Enthalpy Analytical, part of the Montrose Environmental Group, is currently seeking a Full-Time Business Development Associate to join our New Hampshire team of aquatic toxicologists. Enthalpy is a consulting laboratory focused on the analysis, integration, interpretation, validation, and application of high-quality toxicity data. The starting hourly rate is $20/hour.

     

     

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Assessment of marketing opportunities and target markets
    • Intelligence gathering on customers and competitors
    • Generating leads for possible sales
    • Follow-up sales activity
    • Formal proposal and presentation management and writing
    • Assist Sales with leads, simple quote generation and client’s follow up calls
    • Provide information to management on potential client sales opportunities
    • Provide information on competitors (i.e.: pricing, client perspective)
    •  Provide information on client business (i.e.: are they downsizing, changes in the business or personnel, awarded new work)
    • Review project’s requirements (permits, SOW, QAPP, compound list, EDD, reporting format, regulatory limits, etc.).
    • Manage contracts, purchase orders, task orders
    • Adhere to company policies regarding data and client ethics
    • Perform other duties, as assigned

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science or related field
    • Prefer minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a biology laboratory
    • Must understand the regulatory and market forces that cause customers to request analytical work 
    • Technical knowledge of a variety of bioassays offered by the laboratory
    • Complete documentation and attention to detail are very important characteristics
    • Excellent communication and personal skills
