    Nautilus Environmental, a subsidiary of Montrose Environmental Group, is currently seeking a Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to join our San Diego team of aquatic toxicologists. Nautilus is a consulting laboratory focused on the analysis, integration, interpretation, validation, and application of high quality toxicity data.


    This individual will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week.  Some weekend work or holiday scheduling may be required.  


    The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:


    • Cleans and maintains all glassware and plastics with minimal breakage
    • Returns clean glassware to the proper location and keeps it organized
    • Monitors rate of laboratory glassware use and adjusts pace of cleaning accordingly
    • Alerts supervisors immediately if a unique piece of glassware is damaged
    • Keeps inventory of broken glassware and plastics


    • B.S. or AA in a science field preferred
    • Previous experience in a lab setting desired
    • Basic Excel skills required
    • Must have ability to follow directions and work in a team setting
    • Good communication skills required
    • Detail oriented
