    Role and Responsibilities        

    • Perform technical project work in support of the Company’s environmental regulatory service’s programs. This includes the preparation of compliance plans, reports, and permit applications for multiple state and federal environmental regulatory programs associated with the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA,  EPCRA,  and the Oil Pollution Prevention Act.
    • Assist with environmental management system (EMS) and compliance program development.
    • Conduct site visits to gather data and information and collect samples (soil, water, air) to support environmental compliance at industrial, commercial, and institutional sites.  
    • Draft air permit applications and develop emission inventories.
    • Assist the greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and prepare reports.
    • Write compliance plans including Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans.
    • Perform environmental compliance audits, draft reports, and assist with corrective action programs.
    • Work onsite at client facilities in support of the client’s environmental, health and safety (EHS) program.
    • Assist with communications between clients and regulators.
    • Practice safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.

     

    Qualifications

        

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
    • 0-1 year of experience
    • Some experience or exposure to environmental regulations is preferred.
    • Ability to travel occasionally.
    • Ability to drive to client sites.
    • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Solid organization and time/project management skills.
    • Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
